Enable transfer roller cleaning...forget the SP but it's the last option under Drum SP2

It's probably time for a new PCDU.

Agreed. That mark on the back of the page (most of the time the first page) is signs that your PCU needs to be changed. You could try to change just the developer if you don't have an entire unit.

Also change and change your Paper Transfer Roller.

    All the best

It may be necessary to replace the transfer roller then turn on cleaning to prevent a future problem.

Agreed: if the transfer roller is that bad already, enabling cleaning now is pretty much useless.

A full PCU PM and transfer replacement should get the machine running smoothly again.

to solve that problem, on that series, you can start minimum-minimum with replace the developer, and cleaning the pcdu, and then go to rebuild or replace the pcdu and the transfer roller, it all depends on how many prints the consumables have.

p.s. I have tried the speech of the automatic cleaning of the roller on a dozen machines, for two years now, and unfortunately I have not noticed any benefit.

    nice phone^^

I also think the PCU PM parts are probable too old so theres always a light toner background on the drum messing around with the transfer roller. Drum ground might be bad in rare cases...

well it's obvious the PCU needs to be replaced or at least the developer
but if this fault appeared after replacing toner and i beleive u used a low level compatible toner and the developer is not dead
u can try to empty the toner and replace it with good one , then empty the developer tank from the old toner and the easiest way :
remove the toner hopper and keep printing almost black pages until it's empty
then put the new toner and it will work ISA

Why not save unnecessary cost and just replace the transfer roller. That has always worked for me.
