Not entirely true. Let's say there any other members who only speak the same language as the person who makes the post speaks. They then have to translate it back.

I had to change the toner hopper and the BRB board when a customer went round a hospital unit looking for a yellow toner, breaking 4 machines in the process.

Sc672-02 appears.I have tried another BICU and Controller board form another device
    but error keeps coming.
Griffin is not a good device to work on, I touched some cables on BICU it came
to SC570-02 . Touched toner hoper the error disappeared. Machine is now initializing
giving a noise from drive and sc240-02 pops up. I have tried another BK/CY laser FROM A WORKING MACHINE
    error still appears.

Check the laser ribbon connectors on the BICU, it's possible for them to get a bit mangled when you take the BICU cage off.

Have you tried and swap the operation panel before digging in to all these components? I'm not shure if swapping the laser might require some SP adjustments.
