Is it possible to remove Paas on MPC2504ex

We got an MPC2504ex from a wholesaler and it will not print documents from a computer or the usb/sd slots. It will print reports from printer user tools. It has Paas installed. I tried uninstalling it following the instructions in bulletin# RD0BL017a but it still won't print. When I ran SP5760-024 to remove PaaS it failed. I swapped the controller and SP5760(that is the SP that has the PaaS settings) disappeared but it still won't print. The data in light does not flash and it does not show any print jobs in the que.
I have checked SP5985 and it is set to 1.
I have cleared the printer application in SP5801-008.
There are no access control restrictions.
There are no port restrictions. I checked in telnet.
There are no user codes or key counters.

Is there anything else I can do or check?

"In PaaS, a vendor provides a platform on which you can develop software. The vendor takes care of everything behind the platform — the operating system, server hardware and software, and network infrastructure — so that developers are free to concentrate on building products. Most PaaS systems use server virtualization. Google App Engine and OpenShift are examples of PaaS.

PaaS allows you to create new products without investing in additional hardware and networking until you’re ready to deploy them on a large scale."

You may need to find out which vendor's PaaS platform is in use and contact them for assistance. It may require that you be logged in to their cloud servers in order to do much of anything.

You said that there were no user codes but is any high end authentication such as Kerberos enabled where the user list is actually on the server?

Check in extended features settings & uninstall any 3rd parts solutions.

I do not see any high end authentications enabled and there are no extended features installed. I have attached a copy of the configuration page.

The other thing I noticed is that every time I change something in the IPV4 settings, like turning WSD off, I have to power cycle the machine to get back in to WIM.

Power cycling a machine after a change in the network settings on any type is normal to lock the new settings in.

Your config page shows that the firmware has NEVER been updated; it appears to be all original, and is hopelessly behind.

I'm not saying that's the issue, but it's a real good place to start.

Wow, that is really old firmware, amazed it even works. Well, I guess it really doesn't work!
