    I have had them fail. When they do you get the opposite of light copies. You get full page coverage.

    Couldn't agree more, got it working ran a forced toner supply then initialized the toner dens sensors.

    Did you perform Forced toner supply as advised ?
    if you did so and still same problem
    try to put some toner manually in any development unit and print a test page
    if it get any better then i had a bad news for u

    try adj the tension screw at the front of the itb back n forth

    I have ran into that problem as well on both a 305 and 306 and it turned out to be the paper that was the cause, but there is a workaround as well that at least works on those two machines and that is under maintenance in settings there is an option of how it should treat normal paper or something like that and there are two modes, switch to the other.

    Common issue on this old model.

    Make sure ALL the firmware is the latest.

    Also does it improve if doing a duplex print?
