MPC 6004 wont go to sleep

the sleep timer is grayed out and set at 60 min
i have never seen a time section in the gray so yo cant change it, i have latest firmware, been all over the web access, it wont let me change it there either, i have tried security at 0,1,2, custom its not security
    though ive seen stranger things,
any thoughts? customer was asking? thats wierd in itself,, clients dont usually pay attention to the sleep timer...but anyway
i cant set it at all..
its set at 60 min... who would make this un adjustable? lol
    thanks
FYI the 5801-11 solved the "web access denied" on this machine, thanks

Re: MPC 6004 wont go to sleep

Can you enter sleep mode with the Energy Saver button?

Does the customer have any Business Applications installed whose operation would be adversely affected by the machine going into Sleep Mode?
Transition of operation panel to Energy Saving when [Energy Saving Recvry. for Business
    Applicatn.] is [On (Energy Saving)]
Normally, the Energy Saving state of the operation panel LCD changes in step with the
energy saving state of the MFP/LP main unit, but to support the scenario where an application
that does not use the engine (printer/scanner) is executed from the operation panel, the
Energy Saving state of the operation panel is transitioned through the three states ON, OFF,
and Sleep with its internal timer when [Energy Saving Recvry. for Business Applicatn.] is [On
    (Energy Saving)].

Also, greyed out usually means that the proper Administrator is not logged in.

Changing Security setting often requires power cycling the machine before the change takes effect.

    Check this:
UT /Machine Features/ System Settings/ Administrator Tools/ sleep mode entry by sleep mode timer

    Set it to 'enabled'
If it is set to "disabled" energy saver is not changeable
