    C307 questions

Hi, All. We are getting ready to place some equipment, and I was wondering about the projected lifespan of the C307 PDCU's and fuser. Do they make their yields? And will they run OK at the upper end of the duty cycle, as in 5000 prints a month? Thank you, Mika.

What I have found in the past with entry level machines is that PCDU and other PM parts tend to make projected yields only in a machine that is operated at or near the upper end of the duty cycle.

We have the MP C407 in our office & I can tell you all the PCDU, transfer & fuser is over life but the print quality is sill perfectly acceptable.

We only use 80gsm paper & also run C5 envelopes through it (by pass) & we are of course running it on genuine toner.

No probs with that series on my end, too.

This engine based of the MPC305 did a good evolution reliability wise. It's kind of the oppisite compared to "MP301 vs. Aficio1013" lol

We have several units of that model installed and the life of maintenance parts has always been superior to that indicated by the manufacturer.

Could you link me the RTB? I can't find it on Octopus and it would be interesting to know, if the RTB applies to a problem we have with a PB1080 at a customer.
    Thanks in advance.
