    Imc 2000 Fusing Sleeve failure

    Hello

Did you experienced fusing sleeve failures on an IMC 2000?... Have a customer with exact the same problem... The fusing sleeve looks like you open a can of tuna. This is the SECOND sleeve with exact the same type of failure...

    Oeps
    What is the total counter?
Is customer using thick paper without indicating it?
We haven't experience this yet, there where no issues with fusing units on imc's here.

Most times this has happened to me in a sleeve unit it has been the customer who broke it handling the fuser "inappropriately".

We never teach customer how to remove the F.U.
    It is now clear why....

That sleeve looked fairly well worn anyway, they just go like this unfortunately.

I have seen similar in the past both with fusing sleeves and ITB. Customer employee wearing a ring with a larger diamond or other stone poke a hole when removing a paper jam.

Tell them to sell the bling and use the proceeds to pay for parts and labor...
