I think I have done about all I can do - im failing on this one



Company bought machine ( as new ) on Colour = 300 & K = 200 - was told toner hopper was faulty which it was

what had been done

New K toner hopper & toner motor
all firmware updated
Manual Pro Con

Vsg reg front center rear = 4.93
TD sen Ini set result - 1111
TD sensor clean
changed TD sensor

all parts listed below moved to another working machine and all was good, no visible issues on test sheet =

PCU's
ITB
Fusing Unit
Registration Roller
Laser Unit



Am I missing something?

I would say make sure the LD shields and ID sensors are clean first. Perform a forced toner supply on all colors. Run ACC. You also may have to reinitialize K developer after you achieve a good K solid from the forced toner supply.

I did run d after new laser unit was changed, will revisit that option

Im thinking thats its not a hardware issue and just something i dont know about or missed

Its going into a Nursery where they print photos off for the perants.
you can bet your bottom dollar - they will notice.

It shows up at the top of the page if text is presant, and the client is in London which is miles away from where we are on the coast.

Hi dave one of the problems you have when you use pcdu's from another machine they don't set up unless you run manually also toner hopper problems always give you faulty add toner sign I would check the pm life's. Do forced line adjustment in correct order. Also if you require I could always have a look for you i'am based in London. Also if you did do toner hopper you would of removed laser ribbon cables hopefully they not damaged

Machine is in the workshop getting ready for install, possible next week ( tuesday 09/05/2022 ) so pressure is on!

try while printing to keep the door closed with one hand, pushing hard ... and see what happens, maybe it doesn't close well (?)
