Ricoh W2400 wide format fuser problem

On the PSU, a component (see attached) blew up the board resulting in a dead machine. Put a new board in, machine powers up, but now SC542. There is continuity through the fuser lamp harness, and the hot roller thermistor was changed. Manual says possibly a bad MCU, but I trust experience over the book. Any ideas would be appreciated. Could a blown power supply take out the MCU as well? Thanks.

Something blew that triac, check for a short to ground before you go any further.

It looks like on of the triacs that drive the fusing lamps. The SC542, Fusing Warmup error, was most likely caused by the blown triac. Power the W2400 on then enter SP mode. Turn the C2400 off while in SP mode should clear the Fusing error.
