    Pro 8210s - fiery removal

I have a customer that is in need of removing the fiery (EB-34) from the Ricoh pro 8210s. I have set 5895 - 0, & 5193-0 and removed the fiery nic. But the nic on the controller does not light up. What am I missing. I have researched and I can't find what else or if there is anything else I need to do. I appreciate your time, thank you.

You might have a defective controller. Also check to make sure that the interface type is set for Ethernet, not Wireless LAN. With the fiery installed the setting is ignored. But without the fiery, Wireless LAN will disable the wired Ethernet connector.
    1. Press the [User Tools]
    2. On the touch panel, touch “System Settings”.
    3. Select Interface Settings> Network > LAN Type.

Double check that 5-985-001 is set to 1, they may have disabled the built in NIC if they didn't use it for anything else.
