In the romdata folder create a folder named D059 and put all the firmware files in the D059 folder. Also the firmware files that you want to put on the SD card are the extracted .rfu files and not the downloaded rfg*****.zip files.

You never ever change the extension of a file. Each format belongs to a specific form of use for the device.

From where did you download these files and for what specific use? Update by SD or Remotely?

    SC 816
Energy save I/O sub system error.
An error occurred in the energy save sub system. This error occurs only when an energysub system module such as ASIC Whistle is present.
    • Cycle the machine power off/on
    • If cycling the machine off/on does not restore normal operation, replace the IOB.

    Good luck...

Shouldn’t they be ‘fwu’ files? Are you inserting SD card incorrect slot?

Try another card, 2gb or 4 maximum.
download the .fwu files and extract them.
Create folder ''Romdata'' create D059 folder in Romdata.
copy extracted files in D059 folder.
insert the card in service slot.

boot the machine probably with door open and follow the instructions on scree,
    Start updating with System/copy first.

    Regard's

    X2
The files placed in the romdata folder need to be the .fwu extension.

You could also try using the Firmware update tool
