MP C2003 copy mode too light

The print mode is fine and crispy, the copy is too light even if I take it out of auto to manual and darkening the exposure.
Is there anywhere in the SP mode that the exposure can be adjusted?
I have the service manual but couldn't found it.
    Auto calibration was done.

Have you tried cleaning the optics? Are you trained on this model?

    do this exactly sequence.

    - clean optic
    - update the latest firmware
    - re-run a calibration

if this not resolve can be the sensor in loss, i have a pair of this unit in turn, that have same problem, but the customer have not notice of defect, because use it like a printer, i noticed this during maintenace fot other reason....you can remove the auto-density, and put the slider some notch more dark, and store in memory this like default condition....90% nobody will notice.

    extreme measure..LOL

I take advantage of it...for some strange reason, I no longer receive notifications mail from the forum, not even when someone replies ... do you have any ideas?

Lately it has been hit and miss. Getting worse. We need the Admin to be here more often.

No - perhaps it's related to the smtp/hosting service (some sort of limitations). I only pay attention to the notifications displayed on the top/right screen and they seem to work fine at least.
