    sr 3150 booklet finisher skew when staple and fold

    hi guys have to figure this out usually swap but getting down to where I need to fix it. off by and 1/8 inch i have clean all the feed tires to make sure no slipping. all the springs are in place i have never work on booklet finisher. I look at where it lands on the plate at bottom check with ruler and is same on both sides. i ready description of the process for folding. any help would be appreciate

    Since the settings for finishers are located in the service manual for the main frame, what model MFP is the SR 3150 attached to.

    Now is it skewed, i.e. at an angle, or just off position wise. If the position is off have you tried adjusting SP 6141 Booklet Staple position. It can adjust +or- .6 mm. Separate adjustment for each paper size.

    if i tell it to do one copy it doesn't staple but folds and it skewing fold.

    try to check the guide (D6862610 guide plate: open / close) that it is not broken in one of the 2 lateral points where it is fixed and slides, it could play that joke on you, look carefully, because it could be cracked, and you can't see it at the first look
