Open the right side door and check the sensor using Input Checks. J018 is that sensor. Once detected, the paper will usually stop just before entering the fusing unit.

I second that idea. Use Input mode in service mode.

so my comrades , the cable was the issue , there was no visible signs of breakage ,funnily, it appears that the factory tie straps that held the sensor wires together was where the breakages were hiding. patched them up pretty good , now shes spitting out papers again . thanks much guys

Forgot about to he lame harnesses on those right side doors. I had one where it was the cable going to the sensors on the bypass tray.
