Ricoh MP201 not fusing and ghosting

Hi team. Not Ricoh trained but have manual.
The problems described, machine counter is low only 50k fusing unit looking good at first sight (but not removed from machine) drum unit was changed together with OEM toner (they used compatible before). Can't see any fuser temperature adjustment in manual. As per ghosting issue it's with circumference 25 mm which I guess may be drum cylinder?
Anyway this is at random/side client for us but we would like to fix it although no spare parts/machine is available.
Any ideas from experienced would be greatly appreciated 👍

From my experience it is usually a fuser problem. You can change the fusing temperature with sp1105 mode.

Check that the surface of the hot roller has not become coated with toner as that will cause fusing unit offsetting.

PM interval for this is 90k, but that assumes several variables are all on the money, not the least of which is the using of Ricoh toner. Your hot roller is probably the culprit.

Extract the fusing unit, move the two side levers to bring the rollers together and check if the pressure roller presses the fuser well as the two bushings mounted on the end can be worn as well as the fuser roller outside of the PM counter.

Also check the guide plate H5562206 if the ends break it will cause the fuser to not tighten

Is the offset only on onesies? Long runs are ok? You might need to do sp1103 and turn on fuser idling. My bet is on the pressure roller bushings as was mentioned since you think the heat roller is ok. If you want to save parts, I have folded paper I forget, 2-4 layers thick and have put it between the pressure roller and the bushings when I was in a bind. That worked perfectly until I got the bushings. I was tempted to just leave it, but since I now had the bushings, I replaced them.

make a copy, open door to stop the paper feed before it gets to the fuser.
If you have ghosting, problem is PCU related,
if no ghosting, problem is fuser.
Stick with OEM pcu's and toner. And when rebuilding the fuser, do everything...Heat roller, pressure roller, press bushings, thermistor, pick feet
Do it right and these machines are bullet proof

My first thought was also the pressure roller bushings or the pressure roller itself.

25mm circumference is too little for both drum and fuser rollers though - it could match to the transfer roller.
