MP305+ huge gap on ADF scan

Sorry, it's difficult to be explicit. Here are fresh tests made 10 minutes ago :

Result : print gap 4 or 5cm towards the rear of the machine. The cross lines pattern indicates the printing from drum is correct.

As the copy priont is made at 180°, the result is a sheet gap to the bottom from the reader's POV.

I'm currently downloading a firmware update, I must go to outside repairings, I'll chech on this machine this afternoon. I think about putting a new BICU card taken from another MP305+ and see if it works.

I swapped the ADF with another MP305+, and guess what, the issue seems to be in the ADF. The copies are perfect.

In other models, cleaning the size sensors fixes that edge problem, although in an mp 305, it was the bicu.
the machine started failing just like yours until it died...bicu.

Fortunately if you have tried another adf and it didn't work, maybe they are sensors

OK - did you try to use input check for testing all DF sensors? It might make sense to check and compare the sensor data and behaviour of the sensors in both ADFs
