Ricoh MPC4504EX direct WIFI not operating

Have a couple of these boxes, some of them their direct wifi works just fine, others did not, when trying to activate the wifi it does not respond , switching control panel make it works, but this is not a solution, I believe am missing something with the setting.

    Thanks in advance.

Well if it works with a different I would say that there is a problem with the control panel.

The control panel is working fine, but I believe it something related to certain setting, also believe that the wifi is located in the control panel itself

WiFi Direct is a function of the Smart Operation Panel and the circuitry for it is located in the panel, as is NFC and Bluetooth. Have you compared the settings between a working machines and those that aren't working? That includes firmware versions and the the Android OS?

that wi-fi is very weak. i wouldn't not trust it at all. i mean you have to practically be standing on the copier in order to get a good connection. i would hard wire it into the network. then typically they have a wireless network. so they can connect whatever else that needs to connect to the wifi to use the copier. if they really need it. we use a tplink travel router. this can be hooked up simple enough to the copier to give it wifi connectivity. plus i am sure you know, the more walls or other obstructions will interfere with the wifi connection.
