Hi All,
I just found out that since 2015 that Ricoh machines have a built-in packet capturing function, by setting a few SP switches.
Im not referring to capturing print files, which has been there for at least 15 years, but actual packets, which can be viewed in Wireshark.
Has anyone ever tried this?
I have an account where I think there may be some “unwanted” network traffic hitting the machine, although it could be something as innocent as ACT trying to phone home to get firmware updates.
The IT staff at this account is not advanced enough to be able to provide monitoring to that IP address, else I would go that route.
Thanks!
