Yes excellent all round machine. If you are planning on paying for service yourself check the print quality & PM counters etc before you commit.

The IMC Metis is designed to have it's parts replaced as lumps. Complete PCDU's, fuser, ITB etc. Run it with ORIGINAL toner and don't put anything stupid through it, you will have a very reliable box.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

sounds like you got a decent price. that was the last series of ricohs i trained on last year. as i mentioned, they are easier to work than previous models. as stated above, different units are able to be replaced as a whole. or you can still elect to rebuild the parts, such as PCDU or fuser. but no customer wants you on site for over an hour for a rebuild. though if you have a spare, you could always put the spare in. and take the defective one back to the office for a rebuild. if you have access to ricohs website. they have video nuggets that can be helpful as well. on the IMC series during training. i found an easier method to do a repair compared to what the manual shows. we didn't have time to make the nugget in class. the instructor was gonna make the nugget and give me credit. but right around that time ricoh did a restructure. and my instructor had over 30 yrs in the business. and he chose to retire, no nugget for me. lol

The IM C6000 is nothing like the 6503. Totally different machine. The only similarity is that the both say Ricoh.

In The UK it's cheaper to still replace just the PCU not PCDU.

According to the PM table for the IM C6000 the Black PCU can go 400K where as the Black DVU can go 600K. May be at 1200K one can save a little time and replace the PCDU.

I agree, on the previous models I very rarely needed to replace dev unit, from around 800k - 1.200k we'd be looking to upgrade the device anyway.

    Imc系列是mpc系列的升级版本。更多专门从事机器租赁的人更喜欢mpc系列。不过imc和mpc的很多 配件是通用的。
