It can't hurt, but in all likelihood, the pump is toast. Replace it

I Would pull the hose from the rear and blow it out and check toner bottle is NOT full
    of "rocky toner"..
I had some toners come to me that when shook sounded like a rattle..
If you find a lot of chucks of toner i would check the bottle or thw filters for all fans..
Some guys never clean the filters.

    thank you sandmanmac,
i ordered a new toner pump, took about 20 minutes to change and then generally cleaned up the inside of toner powder. It loaded toner and is working just like it is supposed to.

    Thank you again.

When you first 'replaced' toner pump, was it a new or a used pump ? You didn't say. Second hand pumps some work and some don't.

This is the first time that I have had to replace a toner pump on this machine. I didn't even look for a used pump as there is never any idea how long it may have been in service. I don't want to have to open the machine for repairs anymore than I have to so I only use new parts and OEM toner. That doesn't mean I won't rebuild a defective unit but where it is not rebuildable I just go new.

One last question, did you also replace the tube to the pump? If not expect future problems.

Yes the tube was part of the replacement pump.

Ricoh does that now. That was not always the case.
