Is the web consumption / near end set to a silly value? Paper in the fuser connector? Is the machine generating an SC or just saying it's web is near end? Might be the web end sensor is twitchy.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

The web end sensor(s) have been replaced, the machine is displaying web near end or replace web, we just reset it and it goes away for a while

What's the web value of SP1902 at when the machine says near end?

I'm guessing you know that the 9001 uses a different web than the 6/7/8001.

You never realize how cheap a professional is until after you let an amateur do it.

Is the web end feeler installed correctly? I have seen it many times where it is on the wrong side of the web and this shows an end when about 50% is left.

I THINK there was a firmware update... BUT also.. jonhiker could be correct... is the machine showing "web end, sc 550(?) or near end?l

If web end jonhiker is correct and the acuator is set in the wrong position. it should be OVER the SINGLE layer of web leaving the "full" roll, otherwise it will normally fall past the roll at about 35% - 45% life.

Yep, had the same one. Copier has the latest FW. After resetting 1902 and inserting the previous value copier was working. The web motor/sensor replacing didn't help. I cleaned the fuser's plug and the second one on the wall, copier still working without issue. But this is nonsense, it looks like fw/board issue.
