    Ricoh 1075

    I have a ricoh 1075 copier ...
    when i start the machine the display shows
    reboot after insert e31 and sometimes it gives error code sc820....
    and also i can not enter into the service mode
    please help me

    If you have the capability to update the firmware (it uses an IC card) I would do that first. Unfortunately on this model there is software that is stored on the controller that can become corrupt.     E31 is a firmware update failure. SC 820 is related probably to the E31. You need a service technician that can try to recover from the E31, before you take more drastic measures.
