Re: Ricoh mpc 3502 home screen logo

Bump for an older thread. I am still battling with this not working. Tried both .jpeg and .jpg files, have updated firmware. Image is exactly 324x66. Loading from the SD reader apparently works, but the image does not show up in home.

In todays world you think that these sort of company logo could be pre installed or have acces to a directory where the logo needs to be put....

Ricoh should do this with all machines, and have there top 10000 Partners/Re-sellers/Distributers Preloaded. And then should you need to put your own logo in, Then a simple directory path copied and pasted via USB

I know this is really old, but... the trick is that the image must be less than 15kb ON THE DISK. If you resize it at 15kb, the actual space consumed on the disk might be 17kb and it won't work. You can check this by looking at the image properties in Windows.

The right size, dimensions and format named "insert", and it works from WIM.

With the new SOP panels you have create your own screen wallpaper using the SOP designer tool.
