Yup they are trying to centralization but the new site is so sloooooooow and site navigation requires far more steps than TESSA.

I agree that searching between all the types of firmware and different versions is a real time consuming affair now.

We have suggested they add a option to be able to download ALL the latest firmware versions for each model range in one file.

I'm not adverse to change, IF it's a improvement over what it's replacing.

You'll need to register with Ricoh, assuming that you either work for Ricoh or a Ricoh dealer. If you don't fall into either of these categories, you can't.

As far as downloading firmware goes, the site it's absolutely intolerable. There doesn't seem to be any sort of grouping for the firmware, the download process (opening in a new window) is painful and it's all a bit of a lottery as to whether what you're actually getting is the most up-to-date at all.

    I miss Tessa already.

No idea at all, try contacting your Ricoh dealer manager.

It's a giant leap backwards, well done Ricoh. Hard to believe that someone actually signed off on something so bad. Proof that no-one who actually needs to use it was ever involved in the design. Tessa!

    Re: New RICOH site

I wonder if this new site is designed competition. In this age of information instead of going forward we think back.
The engineer or group of engineers who designed TESSA should give my-ricoh designers a lesson in how things are done.
