    MPC 4500 Fuser clips

    Hi

The fuser on this machine slides out on rails and has two plastic clips that stop the fuser being lifted out of the machine.

    Anyone have the part number?

in my opinion, you can leave them alone, no need to attach/replace them

I have a few hundred of these machines in 1 account and all these clips have not been refitted once removed.

Agreed with above, if anything, I believe it's a safety feature to stop users removing the Fusing Unit completely (Much like the later models having the metal brackets)....... and dropping it when it's scolding hot.

I'd say advisable, but not the end of the world if they're not there. It's not gonna cause jams etc
