i feel for you.25% unemployed in lots of eurozone..
typical rich trying to kill the middle class..its slowly seeding itself here too...
if you have mechanical know how you can take apart the pcus..not hard...
also the b/w and colors can be swapped/...same pcu/drums...

Sorry to revive this thread...
Just wanted to thank you all again for the help and letting you know i've finally managed to get a hold of my printer technician. He mcgyvered a few parts and got the black printing fine again (there was a broken coil in the PCU). Didn't touch the color printing, alignment or page registration though (too expensive). I'll just have to manage without those.
Next time it brakes down i'll have to consider buying a new one. If i can get another year out of it, i'll be happy.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to help out with this issue. Hope i don't have to bother you all again in the immediate future!
