    Ricoh 4501A

Having problems with the fax button red light on cannot get rid of it

    Keeps saying 15-01 error
"Check whether there are any network problems."
    [15-01]
No POP3/IMAP4 server address is programmed.
    • In [System Settings], under [File Transfer], select [POP3 / IMAP4 Settings], and then check "Server Name" is correctly programmed. You can also use the Web Image Monitor for confirmation. See the Web Image Monitor's Help.
    • Contact the network administrator.

I do not seem to know why it is doing this

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Someone tried to set up IPFax and has not entered the needed information in Fie Transfer settings. If you are not using IPFax, check that it is not enabled in Fax settings.

Just went to check IPFax and all turned off. It keeps jumping from 15-11 and 15-12 when I make changes to fix problem.

It is now saying 15-12 error.

    ricoh support says

    • In [System Settings], under [File Transfer], select [Fax E-mail Account], and then check that "User Name" and "Password" are correctly programmed. You can also use the Web Image Monitor for confirmation. See the Web Image Monitor's Help. ***user name and password is correct***
    • In [System Settings], under [File Transfer], check that the user name and password for POP before SMTP authentication are correctly programmed. You can also use the Web Image Monitor for confirmation. See the Web Image Monitor's Help. ***I have this turned off***

    Any more suggestions? Thanks
