MP 2555 enable print from memory device

Ok, here's how I fixed it. I popped off the small cover on the left side of the screen, held down the bottom two buttons there and pressed "check status". This brought up a keypad at which I pressed reset ****** then held clear. Now in service mode I navigated to the Printer SP-110 setting mentioned by FrohnB, pressed 1 #, then rebooted. Fixed!

Placing that SP entry code in open text in a public post is a violation of General Rule 5. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. That code is propriety Ricoh intelligent property. Keep it up and you are going to lose that green card. You still have time to edit the post to delete it.

Apparently you failed to read the reply I made to that post. "I believe that Ricoh changed the key sequence and left the new sequence out of the service documentation in order to keep untrained individuals from entering SP mode and causing problems."

I did indeed read that, but that doesn't change the fact that there is another reply in that thread with the correct sequence.
