Rioch mp9003 brand new machine sp modes to run with new machine

Sorry to disturb but what sp modes should I run with a new machine to set it up properly after full assembly...

Why not just follow the installation instructions in the service manual?

Open SP2963-001 and then touch [Execute]. This initializes toner supply and sets up the auto
process control settings. This will require about 4 min.

Like I told him, follow the instructions in the service manual. That is the last step he needs to take. If he doesn't follow the complete setup in the service manual, he will have problems later on because Process Control will have already.

ok... I appreciate the information... from both of you guys...

The reason I asked is that... typically from my experience with ricohs the manual will say one thing but techs do another... so I checked you guys... the grey beards to see if there was anything that I was missing or if the manual was incomplete or any tech bulletins made any changes to the setup process in manual...

again... gentlemen your help is much appreciated and thanks again for both your guidances...

To be honest I follow the manual to the letter never had an issue.

Only engineers who don't have access to the SP manual will simply guess or cut corners then post here when they have an problem.
