Have new ricoh mp2014ad installed, everything ok but when trying to set up scanner...that is scan to folder, the password admin..blank, supervisor , password ..password fails to login, could this be issue to reset factory defaults or which other passwords can be entered? any assistance will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Is this a brand new machine you are installing or used/2nd hand?

This is a brand new machine 0 mileage, all default pwds fails including supervisor

Talk to the person who first turned it on.

But as slim said whoever first powered on the machine out of the box would have been prompted to set the password (or leave blank as should be done)

If you can't find out what password was used you will have to reset in factory mode sp 58xx x6

Most common is admin with blank password or admin admin
