Replaced fuser and need to reset web roll count or fuser count, also need to adjust background density, getting dirty copies
Resetting the counter is covered in the service manual. If you do not have one there is a forum for requesting one.
As for the dirty copies it is most likely contaminated developer. If you have been using after market toner, it is most likely the cause. You need to clean out all toner residue from the PCDU and install new Ricoh toner, drum, developer, cleaning blade, charge roller and charge cleaning roller. Worse case you may need to replace the Development Unit.
Would like to add clean mag roller and replace Dev unit filters if rebuilding. Otherwise it will turn into a dirty pig of a machine. Also check the cleaning web flag, it may be broken if it's still coming up with message after fitting new web

Hi there!
One tip for this "coalmine": when there is no quality issue DON`T touch or remove the pcdu (donīt even take a sharp look at it), otherwise you have to change all the parts mentioned above.
