Did you properly remove the Image Density sensor and clean it as it is what you were supposed to "Check" on the ITB unit?

A dirty or defective density sensor will cause the problem. Clean only with a soft cotton cloth slightly dampened with water ONLY. Any other type of cloth will cause static that will attract dust and toner.

Then the sensor might be bad or there could be a problem in the toner system.

I've checked the full ITB unit and full drum-Development unit in a running good same model machine to confirm if there is any specific unit's problem, but problem still exists.
Now also checked Toner path also, but problem appears frequently.

Re: SC # 374-01 on Ricoh Pro 8220S

From today noon machine is showing SC # 370-00. Although morning it was SC # 374-01, but now when we power on the machine, it is showing SC # 370-00 instantly before getting ready. Swapped ID sensor from another running machine, and swapped full ITB unit also but problem still same. The same ITB unit is running in another machine very well.
What can I do please suggest.

You're going to have to start looking at boards next, IOB first.
