Aficio MP C5000 shows 'Printing...' and nothing happens. OSX / PS

Dear copytechnet - I hope you all are well.

We recently acquired an Aficio MP C5000 in working order, which lacked the PS driver. We bought a used SD-card from ebay with the driver that seemed to install correctly.

Copier works good, together with the scanner.

We can add the printer through Bonjour, but when we try to the print job seems to clear from the OSX print cue, but the machine reports 'Printing...' in the web gui, but no jobs on the queue on the printer or in the web gui. No errors in the logs either.

Any clue what we could check more?

Any reason why you posted the exact same question in 2 different forums? In the future one or the other or you might start collecting RED CARDS.
