as i googling for a solution, i found about one solution that had a positive feedback which is "Memory clear the printer app and ACC it. That should sort it out.",
and may i know how to perform that? and what is ACC?

Ok luckily I'm first and in a good mood because I haven't started work yet.
Since you had to google and don't know what it is or how to do it I assume you are an end user and not a trained tech.
Please please please don't memory clear anything I beg you?
If you could describe the issue or better yet supply a sample most of us would be happy to try and assist you.
2851 is an old machine, chances are it's due for some parts and a memory clear would be like factory resetting your smart phone because the screen is cracked.

I am in complete agreement with 8T2. A memory clear will in no way shape or form help with a print quality problem.
Common cause of bad quality are PCDU needs to be rebuilt, fusing unit needs to be rebuilt, toner scattering and use of after market supplies. If it is only when sending print jobs in could even be a setting in your software or the print driver. You are not using the WMI printer port by chance or Microsoft's Class driver. Both of those are major sources of problems.
Thank you for the answer. I'm now clearly understand .
First thing to do, young Jedi, is to clean the slit glass. Then if you are up to it, clean the optics. Good Luck and may the force be with you.
