    IM550 while accessing address book "PROCESSING HAS FAILED"

    Tried formatting HDD, deleting ucs nothing even tried updating firmware and still giving me the same error "Processing failed "

    You could try replacing the HDD.

    Even with Hdd disconnected I still get the same error

    UCS does not affect the address book. If the IM550 is a Ricoh manufactured model, SP 5846-043 will show you where it supposed to be located, check your service manual for what the numbers mean. If it is supposed to be on an SD card or USB memory device and that device is missing, there is your error If it is the HDD, use SP 5846-047 through 5846-050 to initial the various portions portions of the address book. If that fails, the HDD should be replaced.

    The sp modes you have mentioned are all under UCS so I don't understand what you mean.. kindly shed more light because all sp modes under UCS I have tried.. thanks

    So you used FaCTORY MODE to clear the UCS data right?
