Ricoh - Embedded document management

I'm looking for softwares that can be embedded inside Ricoh. Software that makes document management, OCR and all that stuff.
I work with the newest models of Ricoh - IMC

I'm not aware of any embedded soultions - I also find that idea not really safe for productive work if the DMS archive would be stored on the MFP HDD with no backup plan etc.
OCR is possible of course via option.

Well the program would be connected to a server so I see not problem with secutiry

Im talking about some program just like Docuware but from other company
Able to choose the folders and OCR it, and upload the documents in a specific folder

We use Docuware in conjunction with Kofax (NSi) Autostore.

Docuware was acquired by Ricoh a few years ago.

Is there any alternative ? Cheaper and good that can be embredded ?

If you are wanting OCR, then get an OCR program for your computer(s). Most computer software can convert pages per minute. Copiers with on board OCR take minutes per page.

Not to mention that the results are usually inferior and non-configurable, totally unlike a quality OCR program would be.

Actually not really. They do offer an application for iPhone, Galaxy, other smart phones, pad computers and some MFP. The application allows easy integration with their computer, preferably server, based software system. For Ricoh it most likely would be an app tor the Smart Operation Panel android processor. The only thing adding it to an MFP is simplifying setting up scanning. Once installed and started, the app finds the command & control computer on the LAN.

What I'm looking for is some software/program that can be embedded in MFP and user can do file management in there.

Just like workflows, uploading systems, files and management of them. All that in Smart Operation Panel of Ricoh
