Extreme lag and unable to load firmware

    X4300

    Extreme lag on everything.
I asked it to print a config page (from the copier) and it literally took 25 minutes for it print

Put in a new HDD and all the fun that goes with it.
Went to load firmware, cant do it.
SyncThrough on both copier and web browser is so slow and after login it just never loads, it doesnt time out but it also never loads. left it for over 15 minutes and it still hadnt loaded
Tried via Application Manager on copier.
It keeps just logging me out and putting me back to the copy screen
I did manage to get to Verifying screen once but after about 5 seconds it dumped me back to Copy screen and out of admin profile.

Is UI Recovery something that would resolve this? I didnt have the cable to didnt try it yet.
Or should i give it another replacement HDD?

    Got me stumped

Re: Extreme lag and unable to load firmware

Just tried another HDD. No better
    Ran UI recovery
    Now it's allowing firmware update

    Update 1:And this resolved issue
main thing i noticed was originally the System Firmware Version just said N/A and since UI recovery its V6.F6.01

Update 2: customer called and said machine is slow again. going to try the PBA-MAIN board
Is this something I can take from another 4300. i know some brands its not possible to use a board from another copier
