So, as part of my "payment" for a 3rd-party service call, I got to keep 2 Xerox 6655i color MFP's. The question is whether or not I can (or should) resell them to recoup my costs and, hopefully, put...
OK...to button up this thread, T15 was open. Since I didn't have a spare picofuse, I jumpered a "reguar " in-line fuse to the legs of the picofuse as a work-around until I get the right fuse. Machine...
Excellent! Yes, it was M9 that I replaced; had to remove the whole assembly to get it out. Double checked that connection.
I'm back there on Monday. I'm gonna be looking at that fuse.
Do you recall what that voltage should be?
I can't say it works with the door open; I'm able to make a couple of copies before it goes in to the E25 code. I can't get the motor to run in service mode. So isn't it possible that fuse is still...
Thanks for the responses!
I have a photo of the DCon and yup...lots of those fuses. The text is so small, it's hard to see. In this caes, those fuses are a yellow-browish color. I'll go back an...
I've replaced the toner motor M9. M10 checks with the diagnostic. Can't find a fuse on the DCon as noted on an other thread (regarding an iR5065).
I've searched the machine for a blown fuse but...
Thank you...everyone. I'll try the fix, then the cassette.
I'm gonna bill the client, also, it's clearly their faulty, or I'd have had a lot more of them.
But I can't find the part number for the tray. It's on an IR-3045.
Thanks...pics not posted?
The little plastic post molded into the tray is broken and, as a result, the side-to-side paper guides drift.
But I can't find a part number in the manual. Does anyone have that part number?
...
I guess I'd like both, but especially scan to folder.
Thanks.
Can anyone point me to a source. Old customer picked used machine (in real good shape), but it has no scan ability.
Appreciate the help. Thanks!!
Thanks Teckat! Doesn't really cover my situation, though.
Neither of these options are available to me...but I didn't check the new part...maybe the shaft came with it, but the rollers and springs not?
Item # 27 (in the pic) was broken and replaced, and I stupidly did not check it for parts; hey, the machine worked fine...except for duplex!!
I'm trying to identify the part number for the shaft circled in red; there is no reference number. I've never had this before.
Can anyone shed some light on it? It's in Figure 361 of the Canon...
Idon't have the manual for this model...what, specifically, are the definitions on those codes? Also, have you performed whatever PM steps are necessary at this point? (You probably should).
Did you try a new (OEM) toner cartridge? How many pages on the meter?
Not for nothin', but that doesn't look like a Sharp, it looks like a Ricoh. And, yes, there should be a way to change the language to English on the screens...try going into the service mode and see...
I had a problem with an HDD also, and bought what I thought was the right drive, but came in twice the size. Anyway, long story short, I used a program called Self-Image that "cloned" the drive and...
I think you mean 'landscape', right? You mean 11 X 8.5...
Sounds like the paper is skewed or skewing somewhere. Does the problem occur out of the bypass? If not, check skew at pickup, or even...
I'd love to help you, but these print engines are completely alien to me. Maybe try prying off the "XEROX" badge?
Ditto the previous replies, especially if the line is well defined.
Thanks, 'Cat...you da man!. What I'm after is #10 in the pic above, UL907001, "Gear 21". It must be made of plastic. cause it don't make the roller move. Thanks a bunch!
