In my experience, if the lead edges of the multifed pages are exactly lined up, it will print fine. But if they're not aligned, it throws off the timing, which then records as a jam. The printers...
Not familiar with this model, but on the 6535, there is a sensor arm that hangs down into the cassette that determined paper empty. Bending that arm down, so it protrudes more into the cassette would...
I just ran into this the other day with Edge. Switched to Chrome and it worked fine. Go figure...
Kyocera used to have an app called color lock, that did exactly what you're describing. Only for the copy side, not print. It's not available to download on their site any more, so may not work for...
Our rep was in earlier this week on another issue, but told us about a problem he'd seen a couple of times. The symptom was more light overall image, but the fix was to pull the waste box assembly...
You have to contact Kyocera Parts Department to have the warranty processed.
Something we found that reduces this issue dramatically is changing the setting in the print driver to download fonts as bitmaps, instead of the default outlines. Also make sure the KX driver is...
I got your PM, and sent the email.
I have it if you still need it. Email?
We've had similar issues on multiple models, so we started setting the sleep level to "Quick Recovery" and haven't seen it again.
Probably need to replace developer unit and use genuine toner.
Also check the transfer belt. Toner goes through an auger assembly in the belt before reaching the developer unit.
I know this is an old thread, but I came across it in my search for this error. There is a microswitch activated by the back cover. If you try to run the machine with the cover off, it throws this...
Can you expand on this? I can't find a way to cancel the job through Net Viewer.
Make sure DHCP is off, set IP to what you want, and restart machine. Settings won't stay until restart.
sorry the other error is 6110
We have a 5551 ci with the df-790 finisher that keeps getting J6000 ,J6001 jams. Of course it never does it when we go there. We have checked all of the sencors and they all check ok .
I'm sure you got the drum replaced by now, but you should also update the firmware if you haven't (Ver 4.01) and change the setting in Sim 100 - set main HV - agent time from 0 to 1. This will...
I thought this, too, at first. But the slit glass is clean. It just randomly pops up with the "clean" message.
Yeah, the customer was told this wasn't the intended purpose, but what can you do?
You said one tray is letter and the other is letter-r. Are they set to those sizes, in Sys Menu>Common Settings>Orig/Paper Settings>Cassette Settings? At least one tray has to be set to Auto.
Customer tapes receipts to their originals and runs them through the DP. It actually works well, except they get the "Clean the slit glass" message a lot (guess the edge of the receipt shows as dirt...
I had a similar problem on a 6551 where letter-r (portrait), legal or ledger would jam when duplexing, letter (landscape) worked fine. And all sizes worked in simplex. Ended up being Feed Drive H...
They are the same. Gears, chips, yield... all the same. No issues.
