    Re: Kyocera 7353ci magenta problems

I'd guess it's something on the laser slit glass. You could tape it or the main charge to see if it goes away.

[Electrical] Re: TA 358ci Power surge.. now lines on prints

IMO this an insurance claim for the customer. You could spend an infinite amount of time/money swapping parts out, that may or may not permanently resolve it. It's the same as a lighting strike for...

Had that happen recently and replaced the SSD. Make sure to back up everything before switching it out though.

    Re: KM 5052 noise

The most common thing we've seen on this series is a clutch in the feed drive unit squeaking.

Re: Kyocera P21235dn jam at rear

No, we haven't seen that issue. We have sold a lot of 1028/1128/1035/1135/2535 and I don't recall that issue.

Re: Kyocera P21235dn jam at rear

The sliding sheet in the fuser causes drag on the fuser and jamming. Search on here, some guys have removed the sheet and added silicone to get them to run. The sensor isn't going to resolve the...

    Re: U906 failing through KFS?

I spoke with Jeff @ Kyocera this morning. They have a ticket open with Japan regarding the issue.

Re: TA-5003i 0511 random jam on A3 orientation

The registration sensor is below the secondary transfer roller, under the fusing unit. The sensor is staying active too long. Have you tried feeding letter out of the other trays or MPT ? I would...

    Re: 4002i: C2840

Sometimes they quit locking. I just put a plastic screw in them to keep them going.
  10. Re: Which small Kyocera's constantly turn and heat the fuser?

I believe it's only the induction heated units that do this. On the TASKalfa's, turn U346 Fuser mode to off.
  11. Re: Anybody have experience with the Weekly Timer?

Yes, IIRC I set it to power off @ 23:58 & power on @ 23:59 on Sunday night.
And if it's KFS, you can do it through there with having to go to the customers.
  12. Re: Anybody have experience with the Weekly Timer?

I have set some up to reboot on the weekends through KFS. 3 series machines would have the HyPas apps disappear from the home screen. Disabling the motion detection didn't resolve them all, so...

    Re: 4002i: C2840

Check the connector on the top of the belt that mates to the connector on the frame. Likely a bent pin there or not making a good connection. It should try to do something when powered on.

    Re: 2 Series not fusing

 That was the thing I tried on a couple of them. I think I went up either 5 or 10 degrees and they still had issues. Replacing fuser didn't resolve. Media type normal 3 for plain did.

    Re: 2 Series not fusing

The first one I had, the P4060, I did everything, new fuser, including checking power etc. Luckily my Kyocera rep gave me the paper setting to try. I've had to use it on about 8 more machines so I...
  17. [Misc] Re: Kyocera MA2000W USB or WiFi printing does not wake up the printer from sleep mode

On other models, the fix is to set the sleep level from Energy Saver to Quick Recovery. This keeps the NIC from shutting down.

    Re: 3552ci mpt alignment

Print to PDF and save the file to a flash drive and print from it. That eliminates any possibility of the driver causing it.
  20. Re: ECOSYS P6021 "Check the toner container" error

Did you happen to try the back door ? I've seen these with messages that won't clear because the door is open, but it doesn't say that on the display. Also do a search on here. I seem to recall...

Re: M2640dw jamming from tray 1

The J4211 is def. the fusing unit as well as the smudges. You may need a fuser drive unit also. It will start making a gear growl. It's relatively easy to get to from the bottom side of the machine....
