You can not clone a HDD that is been used in a copier. They are encrypted.
Back the device up via the WIM then you can replace the failing HDD & import the backed up setting etc.

Set the ITB handles back & power on the machine. When it comes to ready shut the machine down then try & remove the ITB unit.
That's correct & when you change it setting it should make the sound of that feature etc.

Yes, in screen device settings you can set a sound for when paper runs out.
Change it from the default beep then the user can distinguish before the other beeps etc.
A few techs on here have tried to use a standard STRB / SSB without success.

So true, but but not doing regular updates when you really do NEED to update you can run into issues jumping up from factory to later etc.

+1 on this & also enable auto paper select in paper tray settings & add the bypass tray as an paper source option.
Sounds like a failing STRB or CPUB both can cause the same / similar issue.
A better option is to buy USB caddy to format / delete the partitions on the 'failed' KM board this usually gets them going again.
