Are the staples in the correct place? or are they aligned with the fold? The way it's supposed to work is when the set gets jogged and then sent up and then over and dropped down into the booklet...
Sounds like it could possibly be just sticky registration or feed clutches. I've seen some images be way off and not register a jam on these smaller machines. You can go into output check in...
Double check that 5-985-001 is set to 1, they may have disabled the built in NIC if they didn't use it for anything else.
Just looking for recommendations, as I have never had to move a machine already setup downstairs. I figured I might need to remove service station so no purged ink spills out since the machine will...
According to this none of your jams are actually caused by anything in the inverter/exit. Your last ten jams are all related to the LCT or shift unit which is in the right side of the drawer in...
Hytec sells system software for Fiery controllers now. Not sure which models they offer for sale but you could try them.
Hytec 1-800-883-1001
And don't get confused as well. Those sensors will not wake the machine up when it detects motion, all they really do is start to warm the fuser up when motion is detected. you still have to put a...
This bulletin below is the issue for you I think. This happened to me on a Z6 model that I fought with. Replaced multiple printheads before finding this bulletin. Huge buildup on left spitoon...
According to my manual the Jam codes 204 and 206 are both related to the Booklet Finisher SR3150

Well if they are using the paper library there are settings for the fuser temps specifically for that paper when used. Lowing fuser temps could help with curling. If they aren't using the paper...
Been awhile but you have to hold down another key to get the rest of the error code. Maybe it was the enter or something like that and that should give you extra digits to get the full code. But E2...
There is a bulletin on this. The worm gear on the tiny lift motor cracks and stops working. Change the lift motor. D1361212 Real pain in the rear getting to the motor too.
Make sure your NIC card is enabled in SP mode. I believe it is SP 5-985.
The 3600 and 3601 are virtually the same machine as far as specs and feeds and such. The 3601 does have Scan to USB and Scan to SD standard i believe. As well as HDD data overwrite standard as well....
I found the actual part using the new 3D Parts Finder software. But when you highlight the part there is no number. Just gives the number for the entire transfer unit assy. Which is D1496006. And I'm...
After replacing the boards and nvram you might need to go into SP 5-985 and make sure your nic card is turned on. If not then there is nothing to scan through so machine disables scan option.
Looks like someone disabled copying through service mode. Go to SP 5-118 and see if its set to 0. If not change the setting to 0 and reboot.
Never had this code specifically but it pertains to separation power pack. There is another HV Power supply in the upper right corner of machine if you are looking from the back. I think this one...
By the way, the new thermistor numbers are AW10-0131/0132
There are 9 different sub codes for that error. your gonna have to be a little more specific about the whole code. Also what finisher? what have you tried? Anything specific about the job that brings...
You need to replace the polygon mirror motor in the Laser Unit Part# AX06 0396. That should take care of it.
The machine puts itself in limited functions mode if it sees a problem with an accessory. The machine still should be able to see if a door is open on the finisher though. You might have a different...
Is the machine in Limited function Mode? Go to Settings/Registration-Management Settings-Device Management and check to see if Limited Function mode is ON. If it is then turn it OFF and reboot...
Also be sure to check the Magenta transfer roller itself that is under the ITB. I have had SC 410-413 codes on new set-ups before and it was a stuck transfer roller bushing for the particular color...
