Re: ColorQube 9303 pre-heater rolling pump

    Little Yellow battery is bad.

If you loaded north American firmware you are better off just getting a battery + north American nvm chip. Or load European firmware.

Re: ColorQube 9303 pre-heater rolling pump

Sounds like the cabling for the scanner to mcu is not connected.

Did you load North American firmware on this unit? It sounds you did. That would explain the 4000 sheet message. If it was...

You have replaced the part. You do not need to replace the part again.

That is correct to enter the service mode.

First you need to get replacement hard drive, then come back here and make a...

89-520 is going to show until you clear the error codes in the service mode.

4gb should be fine. Try others too.

Until you load new firmware, I cannot help with the other issues. You need...

Re: ColorQube 9303 pre-heater rolling pump

As for it not being the cap... it could be any of the associated gear train. Exactly why the piece is spared as a whole and not as individual plastic pieces. It could also be a weak pre heater motor....

The rolling pump was deleted in later pre-heater models! Plug the new pre heater assembly in and away you go!

If you look closely you will see the newer unit has a series of springs to pressure...

As a side note it's never the power supply with a ColorQube 92xx or 93xx. They last forever.

[Error Code] Re: Xerox 9301 With Error Code

99-460 means your top orange umbilical thing is shot. Steal one of the two from within your parts unit.

Also don't pull fault codes from the PEST table. Pull them from the fault history option.

The correct piece to order is the entire pre-heat assembly. Just trying to replace bits and pieces of it is hopeless. Once the nylon gears start to shred they all go.

And the pre-heater has nothing to do with melting ink. It actually pre heats the paper before it hits the drum. It also shifts the paper for registration.
