Does anyone have the release notes for this special firmware? having this issue at several devices running PaperCut
it is a known limitation with the new PaperCut embedded on the SOP's, removing all the authenitcation and adding the entries into the address book will work, i have had to do this at a few customers....
You have to remove all authentication from the device (administrator, custom, network etc), then add your entries to the address book, then turn back on all the authentication again.
can you ping smtp.gmail.com from the devices control panel?
Try aspmx.l.google.com port 25 with no authentication turned on
That will only send to other G-Mail accounts though.
Also make sure your DNS settings are correct and include 8.8.8.8 as one of...
It doesnt look like you can anymore, can still set the function keys but not the priority
Try aspmx.l.google.com for smtp server and port 25 with any sending address. should work with DNS entry as googles
Prohibit storage device use will be enabled in admin tools via user tools. you need to login as admin to change that though. try login in as supervisor to reset the admininstrator password
On the WIM of the old device, login as admin, go to address book management, maintenance, create a back up and save to desktop. on new device, log into WIM as admin, address book manangement,...

They also need...
User Tools, System Settings, Flie Transfer Tab, input admin email address and turn auto specify sender to 'on'
Do you have access to the Konica FTP site? there is now special solutions firmware that all devices running solutions should have. I have seen issues with the 3350 with safecom and pcounter embedded...
Thats for windows 7/ server 2008
MPC3500 wont scan to anything newer than windows7
The C220's might need special firmware, worth double checking KM knowledge base for recommend level of firmware for Open API solutions.
Not sure about Oki but i know on the Konica's you have to have the correct loadable device driver for the card reader installed on the MFD and the MFD set to card for authentication before the card...
You definitely have a DNS issue. double check copier dns servers matches pc ipconfig /all dns servers listed there.
Has all the ssl settings been enabled on the device?
Make sure the correct device model is picked under "configure" in the driver. Pick 224e, as this will stop id and print working
Network Support 7.38 and System Copy 1.03 is needed. both on my-ricoh
