That is what I thought too but it doesn't save the password, the next time you select the program it returns to the screen as pictured with the password "OFF" and encription set to 128bit.

I've had broken controller boards before, they have always just had some sc's never before caused a dead machine in my 20 years of service.
Brand new, was just delivered to the customer a couple weeks ago.
It's alive ! It was the Controller board, I didn't think it could cause the machine to be completely dead.

You can always check when the SP mode was last accessed and compare to service history, if the end user messes up he will have to pay :p

Never seen anything like this before, only when copying or printing from by-pass tray the colors are misaligned, no matter which paper size or type, perfect from all the other paper trays....
