I check lift motor by pressing the cassette size switches on the bottom right side
when tray is removed, then I lift the feed roller unit up to check the upper limit sensor.
It should stop the lift...
firmware didn't fix it.
This copier is displaying complex page service check.
It happens from the glass and the adf. What is the error code?
Manual omits it in sharp and lexmark models.
The m3655 is always breaking the adf frames and hinges.
Kyocera has a bulletin that tells us to install the old m3550 hinges to
solve the breaking frame problem.
Update on experiment on my in shop unit
i have run 2,000 duplexed color copies and so far so good.
Has anybody tried using sharp color developer in a ES2505ac ?
I did and the color matches great. and the toner seems to add at appropriate times.
I have to run it in shop for longer runs to see if...
I would check for any trouble errors in sim 22-6 . The problem with coronas, seals, drums
are always a concern on all sharps. I test the discharge lamps , they have been known
to be intermittent....
Have you tried checking the IQC shutter?
It can cause code when it doesn't open completely.
Ended up being primary belt unit, even though full image was on the belt.
2nd xfr roller tried but didn't work
kyocera 5003i jams in the sorter start area.
Replaced sorter, connector to sorter, the AK-7110.
Still jams.
I have es2505ac that has void areas on one side of the paper, running landscape direction.
It happens intermittently on copies and prints. See samples.
It has recently had new drums and coronas.
Here is the update that was done
see attached
tried calibrating and fails every time. copier just had black pm.
image sensor shudder modification was done also.
the patches are printed on the belt. black prints are somewhat blurry, but

Is there any toner spilling from that side of the machine?
It looks like a drum/charge issue or possibly 2nd transfer if the
polygon motor mirrors are pristine on the tips.
I have had Sharps do this before and it has always been a sensor.
I resolved all errors except 61D2.3B error.
airflow assy problem?
This copier was rebooting every copy or config page, until I unplugged the
wireless jetdirect. It gives 81.04.00 jet direct event and 49.43.14 errors.
Any ideas?
I also saw 61.02.38 errors in...
We are looking to trade or buy used toshiba fusers .
Both color and black and white models.
We have new sharp and kyocera parts to trade with.
I fixed a 5002i doing the same thing by increasing warmup ready center 5 degrees
and low power center 5.
You may have to increase edge if it tracks on the side, my 5002i ran for the full 600k pm...
I had same problem and it was firmware , brand new transfer belt ,cleaned sensors, and
performed coarse adjustment then the fine color calibration after the engine reset.
I have had this happen and fixed the problem by updating firmware.
I have seen this on the older models when they need all drums and developers
replaced and calibrated. Other times it has been the primary belt sensors needing
a good cleaning.
I have had this fight many times.
Check the roller assy and make sure it is not forced all the way to the top
I also had a bushing slip off the feed drive shaft.
Yes the gear breaks, but u can...
