Only thing that will not work from a 284 and 364 into a 454e is the paper feed unit.
Drum/developer/ transfer belt are interchangeable.

I unplugged the board and removed it. Left it single scan. I dont know if all bizhub come with the board from the factory. Because i sometimes swap dual scan feeders into lower end 284 to "upgrade"...

Here a df 624 and a 701 both are interchangeable. One has two wires and the other just one.

I have both on 284e, 364e, and 454e just plug and play....
