The Flash PCB is beside the Riser on Main Con 1, it has a screw that holds it on.
You have to do an ERROR CLEAR in service mode after replacing the assembly. The DC Controller is what controls the Fixing Assembly.
If you are talking about the imageRUNNER ADVC5051 then you have to replace the fixing film assembly.
It all depends on what model you're talking about.
You could try this once you get into service mode.
It has something to do with the ATR Control area of the copier. You could have a faulty Patch Sensor or it could be dirty. Are you getting any error codes?
You need to replace the fixing film unit to clear the error code.

You have to do an ALL CLEAR to correct this problem. Make sure you have copies of network settings and address book info.
