Run diagnostics and recovery tool also update boot ROM just in case. We are now rolling FW update for 1i series function version 2.3 on all our 0i series might have some improvements. Good luck.

Greetings! Anyone familiar with CE Password Change Tool they mentioned in G00-RB firmware for i-series?
Do you have CE password removed?
In other words when you hit - S 0 0 S 0 1 will it enter service mode without password?
And fusers last? I'm aware Canon and Ricoh make a great products but nowadays who can afford drum goes past 300k and fuser past 600-700k without doubt. We can't.

I think nothing dramatic in short term. After fiasco with toner shortage/outage KM is shaken and forced to release a "new" 1i models. The future will tell but they digged themselves into a big hole...
