I agree with the above comments, also PCL6 drivers pose problems on w2k3 server for some printers. I've had to revert back to PCL5e to clear error messages.

I know its an old thread but I agree with techcec, check the thermal fuse and thermistor. Also look for cracked solder joints on the fuser pcboard and reflow the solder if needed.
